Morning showers gave way to bright sunshine just as Sunday Funday started day two at the 32nd annual Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival presented by Trek.
A special congratulations goes out to the top male and female finishers of the 2014 Rough Stuff Poker Ride: Greg Pattison with a time of 37:50 for his third win in the orienteering race and Marie Statz finishing in 45:22, putting her in fourth place overall. The Rough Stuff Poker Ride consists of finding seven checkpoints hidden around the Telemark grounds where both skill and strength is desired.
Other top finishers in the male division included Bill Devries finishing second in 44:41, followed closely by Ken Statz in third with a time of 45:21. In the female division, Amy Statz, Marie’s sister-in-law, finished second in 1:01:22 and Emily Osowski finished third with a time of 1:21:30.
Besides the Rough Stuff Poker Run, Sunday Funday participants enjoyed several low-key events including Klunker Toss, Bicycle Bowling and the Lumber Jack and Jill Log Pull.
